I’m an educator, researcher, and designer based in Las Vegas, Nevada. I hold a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where my research focused on expertise development, game-based learning, and assessment in digital environments.

As a Visiting Researcher in UNLV’s Interaction and Media Sciences Lab, I’ve worked on interdisciplinary projects exploring how humans interact with technology — especially in learning, identity development, and ethical system design.

I also bring experience from libraries, student services, curriculum design, and teaching across both undergraduate and graduate programs. My work is grounded in values of accessibility, inclusion, and purposeful design - and I’m more than a little obsessed with making learning more equitable, more human, and more effective for every student.

Outside of work, you’ll probably find me with a book in hand, a dog by my side, and a warm cup of tea nearby. I am lifelong gamer, whether tabletop, PC, or board games, I love to play them! I can also be found binge-watching Star Trek, catching a hockey game (Vegas Golden Knights or Minnesota Frost), or spending time with family and friends.
